Igor Zhilinsky enters coaching staff of Penza Diesel club

Penza, 6 January 2018. PenzaNews. The hockey player, honoured coach of Russia Igor Zhilibnsky entered the coaching staff of the Penza Diesel. This was reported by the press service of the club.

The former coach of the hockey club Ryazan will now help the main coach of the team Andrei Sidorenko together with Dmitry Shandurov.

Igor Zhilinsky already started to work in Diesel.

Currently the team is preparing for the home series of the championship games of the Major Hockey League of the season 2017-2018. On January 9, Penza hockey players will take the ice against the Chelyabinsk Chelmet club.

Igor Valentinovich Zhilinsky was born on January 16, 1963, in Omsk.

He graduated from Omsk Institute of Physical Education.

He played for the teams Avangard from Omsk in 1980-1984, 1986-1988 and 1994-1996, for SKA from Novosibirsk in 1984-1986, for Lada from Tolyatti in 1989-1993, for the Polish club Naprzód in 1993 and the Tyumen Rubin in 1993-1994.

He started the coaching career in 1997 becoming a mentor of the team of the youth athletic centre "Avangard".
