Kravtsov: Denis Ayrapetyan was not included in the number of the potential participants of the Olympics

Penza, 23 January 2018. PenzaNews. The President of the Union of Skaters Alexei Kravtsov confirmed the information that recently appeared in the media according to which Denis Ayrapetyan, short track athlete from Penza, had not received admission to the Olympics in Pyeongchang.

"As for preliminary information on applications for the Olympic Games, Evgenia Zakharova and Tatyana Borodulina were debarred of participation. Yesterday's information on Victor An, Vladimir Grigoryev, and Denis Ayrapetyan was confirmed," he said commenting on the current situation to RIA Novosti.
In turn, Denia Ayrapetyan addressed words of support to all Russian athletes who planned to compete for medals of the Olympic Games in 2018.
"[...] As for the difficult and unpleasant situation with the Olympic Games, I would like to express words of support to my colleagues, friends from the team, to the whole Russian national team in general. We will cope with it guys. Everything will be fine," he wrote on Instagram.
