Penza, 2 April 2018. PenzaNews. Trainee of the Penza region sports training centre Natalia Afremova won a silver medal at the supercross event of the first stage of UCI BMX World Championships, which finished in France on Sunday, April 1.

The first place was occupied by Laura Smulders from the Netherlands. Saya Sakakibara from Australia occupied the third place.

Russian cyclists Yaroslava Bondarenko, Natalia Suvorova and Varvara Ovchinnikova occupied the 7th, 16th and 26th places of the championship table, the website of the sports training centre reports.
