France, 10 June 2018. PenzaNews. Anastasia Fesikova, student of the sports training centre of the Penza region, won a gold medal on the first day of the French stage of the international swimming tournament Mare Nostrum, June 9.

She covered the distance of 50m backstroke in 27.84 seconds.

The second place was occupied by Mie Nielsen from Denmark with the result of 28.08 seconds, the third place was gained by Kira Toussaint, who finished the race in 28.23 seconds, the website of the sports training centre informs.
