Penza, 14 June 2018. PenzaNews. Over 250 people participated in the Penza stage on implementation of the physical culture and sports complex Ready for Labour and Defence (GTO) "Gotov", which was held in Yubileynaya square.

Residents of the city of different age groups and fitness levels could test their strength in lifting weights, push-ups, pull-ups on high and low bars, bending on a bench, standing jump and torso lift. All participants received sweet bars and badges. Those who distinguished themselves received souvenir medals.

In the presence of a medical certificate, the results can be credited when receiving a real GTO badge.

Head of the GTO testing centre and "Gotov" project Vladislava Vasyanina told PenzaNews that the tour is held in 30 cities and town of Russia and the final stage will take place in Moscow on August 11-12.

"Penza is the eleventh city. The testing is still to be held in nineteen cities. [...] The main target audience is adult, working population," the interlocutor specified.
