55 athletes participate in Penza Karting Championship

Penza, 17 February 2019. PenzaNews. 55 athletes from Penza, Nizhny Lomov, Kamenka and Zarechny took part in the Penza Karting Championship among young men, dedicated to the memory of policeman Oleg Nikolaev, which was held at the Lokomotiv stadium on Saturday, February 16.

Penza was represented by trainees of the Art Centre for Children and Youth, the Regional Centre for Development of Children and Youth and the Art Centre №1.

The athletes competed in individual and team events. Each team consisted of nine athletes in seven classes of competitions.

The winners were awarded diplomas of the Department of Education of the city and prizes from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Penza region, the press service of the city hall informs.
