Penza, 28 February 2019. PenzaNews. Swimmers from the Penza region won 13 medals – five gold, the same number of silver and three bronze medals – on the second day of the championship of the Volga Federal District.

As reported on the website of the palace of water sports "Sura", four gold medals were gained by Egor Pavlov. He was awarded for performance at distances of 200m butterfly and 50m backstroke. Sergey Isaev won the championship at a distance of 400m medley swimming.

Valeria Pugacheva, Georgy Ekimov, Egor Suchkov and Alexander Kharlanov became silver prize-winners of the competitions.

Alexandra Dorofeeva and Roman Larin received bronze medals. In addition, the men's team consisting of Artem Lazarev, Alexander Kharlanov, Roman Larin and Egor Pavlov won bronze medals in the relay 4×200m freestyle.
