Penza, 19 April 2019. PenzaNews. Competitions in the framework of the main championship of the Penza region and a minor regional contest in powerlifting will be held in the coming weekend, April 20-21.

They will be held at the premises of the regional school of Olympic reserve.

Over 60 people – representatives of Penza, Zarechny, Kuznetsk and areas of the region – are expected to participate in the competitions.

Each contestant will have three attempts, and the best of them will be counted.

Athletes will perform three exercises – bench press, deadlift and squat with a barbell.

As a result of the competition, the team of the Penza region will be formed to participate in the all-Russian competitions and official powerlifting championships, the website of the school of Olympic reserve informs.
