Penza, 6 May 2019. PenzaNews. Representatives of the Penza region won two medals at the Russian championship in draughts and chess among persons with a spinal cord injury that was held in Barnaul.

Andrei Tersintsev won a bronze medal in chess among wheelchair athletes. Irina Karaeva received an award of the same value among women.

According to the press service of the Penza region government, both participants are candidates for the master of sports in their disciplines.
