Sergey Yanyushkin from Penza joins Russian national rugby team for match with Italy

Penza, 14 August 2019. PenzaNews. Lokomotiv-Penza defender Sergey Yanyushkin was included in the national team for a test match of the World Rugby Championship, which will be held in Italy on Saturday, August 17. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Rugby Federation.

A total of 32 players will go on the trip on August 15 including three athletes of the Penza rugby school – Evgeny Matveev and Andrey Polivalov, who are now playing for VVA-Podmoskovye, and Roman Khodin from Kuban.

After the match, the Russian national team will stay in Italy for another week, where they will continue to prepare for the Rugby World Cup and hold several joint training sessions with the team Zebre.
