Ski stadium with track from Zapadnaya Polyana to Snezhinka Stadium to be built in Penza

Penza, 7 November 2019. PenzaNews. A new ski stadium consisting of two bases: one in the forest area in Zapadnaya Polyana and the other – near Virazhnaya Street, connected by a ski track, will be built in Penza.

According to the press service of the government of the Penza region, the project statement has already been prepared. However, the terms of its implementation are not specified.
A one-time capacity of 100 people is planned for the upper ski base. A guest parking lot for 400 cars will be set up. In addition to the premises for the storage of sports equipment, it is planned to place locker rooms, a coaches' room, a medical room, a buffet and bathrooms in the building.
According to the plan, the slope will be equipped with fencing for sledding, ice cubing and tubing.
The illuminated 5.2 km long, 6 m wide, fine-grained roller-coaster track is designed for year-round operation.
On the lower ground there will be erected a block-module skiing base with a simultaneous capacity of 50 people, as well as equipped parking for 40 cars. In addition, it is planned to build a one-storey unheated building for the storage of equipment and to install outdoor simulators.
