Young Penza chess player wins three medals at IPCA championship in Spain

Penza, 26 November 2019. PenzaNews. Penza athlete Victoria Batarova won three medals at the First Open Individual Championship of the International Physically Disabled Chess Association (IPCA) in Spain. This was announced by Vladimir Novikov, chairman of the board of the regional public organization of disabled athletes Povolzhye and head of the regional sports federation for physically disabled persons.

"Despite the fact that it was the first time Victoriya Batarova took part in a competition of this level, she took the second place among girls, as well as the third one – among women in blitz and among girls in speed chess," the interlocutor said.
He added that in the overall standings the young Penza chess player had become the second among girls and the third among women.
