Penza, 14 June 2021. PenzaNews. The pre-season hockey tournament Diesel Cup, which was held annually in Penza, will not take place in 2021. This is according to a statement from the team’s press service.

According to Evgeny Mukhin, head coach of Penza’s Diesel, the teams who had planned to attend the competition did not confirmed their participation.

“We simply could not find participants,” he said.

Evgeny Mukhin adds that instead of the Diesel Cup it is planned to hold control matches with Tambov Hockey Club.
