Kuznetsk, 3 December 2021. PenzaNews. The prospects of rugby development in Kuznetsk, the second-largest town in Penza region, were the main topic of a working meeting held at the city hall the day before.

It was attended by representatives of the city administration, the Penza Region Rugby Federation and Lokomotiv-Penza professional club.

According to the information given, a rugby department will be opened at one of Kuznetsk’s sports schools. It is planned to hold presentations and demonstration lessons to enrol children.

According to the press service of the city administration, the possibility of using grant support to further develop rugby in Kuznetsk was also discussed.
