Penza, 4 December 2021. PenzaNews. The People’s Fitness Park, which is an open-air sports and fitness complex, is to be located in Penza on the grounds of the Public Garden of Teachers at Zapadnaya Polyana. This was announced by Oleg Yagov, first deputy chairman of the Penza region government.

“On December 3, I held the first meeting of the working group that will implement the People’s Fitness Park project. The initiative to create the fitness park was introduced by public figure Vyacheslav Maksyuta. The project lies in the creation of a fitness park with access to a free open-air sports and recreation complex for family sports activities. Those present discussed at the meeting a possible location for the new facility. It is planned that the complex will be located in the Belinsky Central Park of Culture and Leisure in the territory of the Public Garden of Teachers,” Oleg Yagov wrote on his Facebook profile.

He added that the working group meeting decided to sign a cooperation agreement between the Penza administration and the autonomous non-profit organization Narodny Fitness Park by the end of 2021.

“The new project for Penza is planned for implementation during 2022,” specified Oleg Yagov.
