Penza, 18 February 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza region will receive a subsidy of 527,701,200 rubles in 2016 from the federal budget on cattle farming.

The distribution of funding, for a total amount of 25.8 billion rubles, between 78 Russian regions will be made in accordance with the Russian government decree signed by the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

According to the notes to the document, the regions will receive the subsidies under the state program of agriculture development and regulation of agricultural products, materials and foods in 2013-2020.

The funds will be used to confinance the expenses related to paying out the interest on investment loans in development of animal farming, processing, as well as construction of work and logistics infrastructure to facilitate the supply in this market.
