Kamenka, 31 March 2016. PenzaNews. A 35-year-old citizen of the Kamenka area in the Penza region ended up as a victim of a scammer in an attempt to sell a tractor via an online ad website.

“She received a call to her mobile phone from a potential buyer, who said he was ready to make an advance payment. After hearing that, the woman gave the person her bank card credentials, and even connected the ‘Mobile Bank’ service to his phone number, after which she learned that 35,000 rubles were withdrawn from her account,” the press service of the Penza region Ministry of the Interior department informed PenzaNews.

The fraud case is currently under investigation, they added.

“The police are identifying the culprits involved in the crime,” the press service said.
