Penza, 4 April 2016. PenzaNews. A 59-year-old Penza woman has been arrested on charges of stealing three bottles of cognac for a total cost of 2,419 rubles.

“A trade company representative reported to the police that an unidentified woman has been stealing liquor from the open stall of the shopping center on Okruzhnaya street. Her actions were recorded by the CCTV cameras in the shopping center,” the press service of the Penza region Ministry of the Interior department told PenzaNews.

An elderly woman was brought to the police on the charges, and confessed to the crime, they clarified.

“The case is currently being investigated,” the department noted.
