“In October 2015, the young man in question agreed with his acquaintance, an underage girl, to commit a crime by stealing a pair of sweatpants for her from a dressing room of an Adidas store in ‘Suvorovsky’ shopping center. He detached the anti-theft magnet device from the sweatpants, hid them under the street clothes and smuggled them through the anti-theft gate, thus causing the Adidas company 2,533 rubles of material damages,” Yulia Makarova, senior assistant attorney of the region in media relations, told PenzaNews.

According to her, the same young man intentionally stole another pair of sweatpants for 2,539 rubles from one of the “Retail Park” shopping center stores between September 24 and November 12 of 2015.

“The teenager confessed his guilt in the crimes. The company was reimbursed for the damages,” she clarified.
