Penza company director paid bank, subcontractor debts out of employees’ salaries

Penza, 17 May 2016. PenzaNews. An audit by the prosecutor’s office for the Leninsky Penza area court in the company “PK-Stroy-1” resulted in a criminal case under Part 2, Art. 145.1 of the Criminal Code, “Withholding Salaries, Pensions, Stipends and Other Payments.”

The salaries in the company were withheld by the director, who was also its founder, from 1 June 2015 to 31 January 2016 for his own profit, Yulia Makarova, senior assistant attorney of the region in media relations, told PenzaNews.
“During the outlined period, he used the withheld funds for the following: debt payment for 512,000 rubles; payment for suppliers and subcontractors for around 9.5 million rubles; payments to debitors and creditors for some 15 million rubles,” she clarified.
According to her, the case is closely monitored by the prosecutor.
