Penza, 15 June 2016. PenzaNews. A 56-year-old Penza citizen was detained in Anapa after he became wanted in the nation under a large-scale fraud criminal case.

“According to available information, the Penza citizen in question stole over 6 million rubles from two local businessmen in 2011-2012 using a fraud scheme, and used the money as he saw fit. As a result, he became the main subject of the criminal case under Part 4, Art. 159 of the Criminal Code, ‘Fraud.’ He was released on pledge not to leave town; however, he failed to show at the court session, and escaped the region,” the press service of the Krasnodar Krai Ministry of the Interior department informed PenzaNews.

The Kuban police successfully pinpointed the fraudster’s exact location, and detained him at the Black Sea, they explained.

“The man has been transferred to the Penza city Ministry of the Interior department, which initiated the search,” the press service clarified.
