Elderly Penza woman pays fraudsters 140,000 rubles for “removing hex”

Penza, 21 June 2016. PenzaNews. Two women of Caucasian descent deceived an elderly woman living on Meditsinskaya street in Penza out of 140,000 rubles by convincing her that she needs to have a hex removed from her.

The two culprits committed the crime in the morning of Saturday, June 18, but the elderly woman came to the police only on Monday, the press service of the Penza region Ministry of the Interior department told PenzaNews.
“A criminal case has been initiated,” they said.
According to the press service, the identities of the two women are yet to be established.
“One of them looks 35-40, was 160-165 cm tall, wore a light sweater and a dark skirt, and had a dark handbag. The other looked 45-50, was 170-175 cm tall with short fair hair, wore a light dress and had a black women’s purse,” the police explained.
