Penza, 18 January 2017. PenzaNews. Police officers established the identity of young men suspected of committing thefts from girls in the streets of Penza.

As it was reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, unidentified men stole a mobile phone from a 17-year-old city resident at the stop "Ulitsa Chkalova".

"The police office No. 3 of the department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the city of Penza received an application about a similar crime, which was committed near the ["Voeykov"] martial arts palace in 40 Let Oktyabrya street; an unidentified person openly stole a mobile phone from a 15-year-old girl," the department explained.

The police added that during operational investigative measures, they arrested the VAZ-2115 car driven by a resident of the Penza region in Borodina street.

"There were two passengers in the cabin, aged 22 and 23, who had been found criminally liable before. They confessed to their crimes. The stolen things were confiscated. A criminal case was opened on the fact of theft," the press service said.
