Penza, 17 January 2012. PenzaNews. The jury of the All-Russia annual open project “Best of Russia” recognized Penza photographer Yury Nesterenko’s photograph “Mother and the son” one of the best in nomination “People.”

“The picture was made in village Lopukhovka of the Penza region. The woman is coming back home after a hard work in the field. On the backwards there is a man sitting on a porch,” the author of a picture explained.

According the Press Secretary of photo club “Academy” Maria Kabanova, there were 47 pictures in nomination “People”.

“Best of Russia” is All-Russia annual open project organized in 2008 by the center of the modern art “Winzavod” and the ministry of culture of the Russian Federation.

The purpose of the project is to create an authentic picture of Russia in 365 brightest and not ordinary photos. Any citizen of Russia, either professional photographer or armature can take part in this project.

All best works of the project are published on an official site of the competition and their authors will take part in an exhibition “Best of Russia” in the center of the modern art “Winzavod”.
