Penza, 1 April 2015. PenzaNews. Stanislav Tikhov, student of the Penza Children’s Musical School No. 15, has won the 2nd place of the 10th international festival contest “Tabula Rasa 2015” in Moscow.

The young man was the only representative of the Penza region in the event.

The jury chairman, People’s Artist of Russia Alexei Kuznetsov, noted that Stanislav Tikhov is a soloist with one-of-a-kind technique, great dynamic range of performance, and expressive phrasing.

According to the press service of the Penza Department of Culture, the jury chairman also praised the work of the young guitarist’s tutor, Sergei Potemkin.
