Penza, 25 May 2015. PenzaNews. The Penza choreographic ensemble “Venzelya” won the Grand Prix at the All-Russian festival of Russian folk dance “They round dance across all Russia” for the prize of the USSR People’s Artist, USSR State Prize laureate Tatyana Ustinova, which ended in Vladimir.

In addition, Dmitry Kostin, ensemble “Venzelya” soloist, was awarded a diploma of the winner of first degree for “Izbyanye Vechorki” performance and a comic dance of the Smolensk region “Gusachok.”

Moreover, a diploma was awarded to the ensemble of folk instruments of the choreographic art center of Penza.

In 2014, the ensemble “Venzelya,” the artistic director of which is the honored worker of culture of Russia Larisa Alekseeva, was awarded the Grand Prix of the competition, the press service of the city administration informed.
