On December 17-21, they will be playing the New Year fairy tale “Magic Mirror” after the script by Yuri Boganov in the Budapest Russian Cultural Center.
According to Sergei Kazakov, this tour will become a cultural ambassadorial visit from Russia, as the play features only the traditional Russian fairly tale personalities and the guardian of New Year is Grandfather Frost with his granddaughter Snow Maiden instead of Western Santa Claus.
The play will be visited not only by the Russian-speaking audience in Budapest, but also by native Hungarians studying Russian, who also will be able to enjoy Sergei Kazakov’s literature recital workshops, says the website of the Penza Drama Theater.
