Penza delegation presents investment potential of the region in Austria

Penza, 29 May 2012. PenzaNews. First Deputy of Prime Minister — Minister of Investment Development and Business of the region Vladimir Volkov takes part in the Intergovernmental Russian-Austrian Commission for trade and economic cooperation in Vienna.
“The objectives are to promote Russian exports to the markets of Austria, attract foreign investment, technology and skills in the Russian economy, as well as the presentation of investment and economic potential of regions and, in particular, of the Penza region,” commented the press service of the Ministry of Investment Development and Business of the region for news agency “PenzaNews.”
The Penza region is a traditional trading partner of Austria, and an active member of the Russian-Austrian Commission. According to official statistics, foreign trade turnover between the region and the European state is growing every year.
“Within the framework of the commission there is a scheduled visit to a number of agricultural and industrial enterprises, the exchange of contacts, discussion of current issues of development of branches of potato production, dairy farming, food, timber industry,” added in the press-service.
