“I signed a protocol on mutual cooperation with the largest Russian company Aerofuels Group,” twitted Vasily Bochkarev, governor of the Penza region, on Friday morning, August 29.

This past Thursday, August 28, negotiations were held in the regional government, during which the senior executive board of Moscow company announced its readiness to proceed with the modernization of Penza airport, which in the future should help to establish international communication in the city.

According to the general director of Aerofuels Group Vladimir Spiridonov, construction, which can be initiated in September 2014, will take about 2.5 years, and the investment in the project will amount to approximately 500 million rubles.
