“It is not a problem to bankrupt somebody. Nobody follows a part of the law [‘On insolvency (bankruptcy)’]. The first point is recovery, but nobody helps to recover, not a single insolvency practitioner. Just like them, the courts also shun making patriotic verdicts that favor workers. Bankruptcy is, first of all, a chance to recover. The law provides some deductions, and an insolvency practitioner must think of them,” said the head of the region during a weekly meeting session of the Penza region government on Tuesday, February 24.

Vasily Bochkarev ordered to create a working group led by Victor Rubtsov that must include representatives of the Department for Fighting Economic Crimes, tax service and prosecutor’s office, as well as bailiffs.

According to the head of the region, members of the working group should inspect the businesses themselves to help avoid financial surrender of enterprises, as well as reveal and counter falsified bankruptcy cases in all areas, including property management companies.
