New “Hrombur” factory project considered in Penza region, requires 6 billion rubles

Penza, 11 June 2015. PenzaNews. The Penza region is interested in the construction of a new “Hrombur” metalworks factory in the Kamenka area of the Penza region for a potential cost of 6 billion rubles, the acting governor Ivan Belozertsev announced during a meeting with the investors held on Wednesday, June 10.
“The Penza region is in need of new industry factories and hi-tech goods. Such a step would create new well-paid jobs and provide the construction industry of our and the adjacent regions with modern materials,” the head of the region added.
During the talks, the parties came to the conclusion that the new factory would focus on producing the European- and worldwide-standard metal goods used in construction works.
Moreover, the company investors also plan to open a metalware factory in Kamenka along with the primary project.
The plan is expected to create from 150 to 500 new jobs and kickstart the development of local civil and commercial infrastructure, also followed by new job openings.
During the meeting, the parties paid particular attention to tax preferences, subsidies, and eco-safety issues.
As the press service of the regional government reports, the authorities and the investors signed a protocol of intent, a first such document on cooperation between the Penza region government and “Hrombur.”
