Penza, 26 November 2015. PenzaNews. The Penza region governor Ivan Belozertsev has taken part in the countrywide teleconference meeting of the Russian Transportation Minister Maxim Sokolov on commuter train system management, that took place on Thursday, November 26.

During the video conference, the officials discussed the results of the 2015 campaign to compensate financial losses incurred by the commuter train system, and successes on the plans claimed by the regions.

It was reported that the 2015 Penza region budget provided for subsidies to compensate for lost profits to a number of railroad companies managing the commuter trains, while local officials follow up on the subsidies.

Another discussion that took place during the video conference was dedicated to the tariffs issue that Russian regions took during their 2016 transfer order creation, and heard out the reports from the regions on formation of systemic transportation service plans.

After the meeting, the governor Ivan Belozertsev instructed his subordinates to create a roadmap for cooperation with the railroad commuter train service companies, says the press service of the Penza region government.
