Penza, 11 January 2016. PenzaNews. The companies “Termodom,” “Penzastroy,” and “Penzgorstroyzakazchik” are the leaders in the Penza region in newly built housing over the year of 2015, announced Alexander Grishaev, regional Minister of Construction and Communal Affairs, during the regional government meeting session on Monday, January 11.

“We had 930,000 sq. meters of new housing in 2015. That was 3% more than a year ago. The top dog, of course, is ‘Termodom’ that built 125,000 sq. meters. The runner-up, in spite of all issues, is ‘Penzastroy’: we have 65,000 sq. meters there. The third place is ‘Penzgorstroyzakazchik,’ 55,000 sq. meters. The fourth company is ‘Risan’,” he noted.

According to Alexander Grishaev, some companies even managed to increase the real estate production volume, in spite of the tough economy situation.

The objective for 2016 is to preserve the previous year’s results, which is entirely possible thanks to various buildings in various stages of completion, he added.

“We must get the majority of new housing here in Penza, from our main real estate producers,” the minister stressed.

In addition, the head of Construction Ministry also pointed out that the new agreements on housing volumes with municipalities will be signed by February 10.

The achieved level is “more than serious,” noted the Penza region governor Ivan Belozertsev.

“We need to analyze the situation with real estate producers by the end of January – with regard to construction volumes this year,” said the head of the region.

However, as he pointed out, the situation must not degrade to a standstill standoff between certain construction companies.

“We must have a clear understanding of where they will be going and what are the plans for the year,” Ivan Belozertsev added.
