Confectionary cluster enterprises sign new contracts after Prodexpo trade fair

Penza, 18 February 2016. PenzaNews. The Prodexpo international trade fair for food, beverages and food raw materials turned out to be fruitful for Penza enterprises, announced Ilya Issakov, chairman of the Penza Confectionary Workers Union cluster.

“Usually, we see a trade fair as successful for us if we set up contacts with distributors and consumers with potential in further shipment talks. However, during Prodexpo-2016, many companies managed to sign binding shipment contracts during the event itself,” he said.
11 companies of the cluster were representing their goods during the event.
Bekovsky RPK “Oktyabr,” confectionary plant “Ageevsky,” “Diad,” “Bosa Nova” “Penza Chocolate Company,” and “Bessonovsky Bread Products Plant” showed their new developments in a unified exhibition booth.
Moreover, “Vanyushkiny Sladosti,” “Russky Konditer,” confectionary plant “Miroslada,” “Kaynak” and the Penza confectionary factory “Rusprodukt” participated in their standalone booths.
During the event, some of the regional companies received praise for their achievements.
In particular, “Russky Konditer” received the awards within the contest “Best Productr 2016,” receiving a total of three gold medals for their new developments in 2015-2016.
According to Sergei Rychagov, general director of “Russky Konditer,” the experts praised the variety of assortment by the enterprise, which was made possible thanks to development of new types and flavors and the launch of new production lines that helped increase the output. The company managed to significantly increase production volumes and create new jobs in 2015, he added.
As PenzaNews agency reported earlier, the 23rd Prodexpo-2016 international trade fair for food, beverages and food raw materials took place at the Moscow Expocentre on February 8-12.
The Penza Confectionary Workers Union cluster is frequently participating in such events.
Thanks to development of production capabilities by cluster enterprises and active promotion of their goods in the Russian market, the Penza region after the first 9 months of 2015 was named one of the five Russian regions that showed the maximum confectionary production volumes.
