Penza governor urges to prevent industry production volumes slump

Penza, 18 February 2016. PenzaNews. The governor Ivan Belozertsev urged the members of the Penza Region Industry Workers Association to do everything possible to prevent the slump of industrial production volumes.

During the session of the organization, which was held in the company “Stankomashstroy” on Thursday, February 18, he reminded that the industrial production indext of the Penza region reached 106.3% in 2015.
“The enterprises with the highest results in production volumes shipped are: […] “PKTBA” – 187.2%, ‘Radiozavod,’ […] ‘Mayakprint’ did 156.6%, ‘Nizhnelomovsky EMZ’ – 152.6%, ‘Mayak’ – 148.5%, ‘Rubin’ – 135.8%, ‘Penztyazhpromarmatura’ – 125.5%, ‘Biosintez’ – 124.3%, ‘EVT’ – 112%. ‘Penzadizelmash’ had been in a difficult situation in early 2015, but we sorted it out and reached 118.%, with a growth. Of course, this is good,” Ivan Belozertsev said.
The average salary on Penza region industrial enterprises is 24,122 rubles, he clarified.
“Salaries must be increased,” noted the head of the region, adding that the ways to increase productivity must be sought even in the tough economic situation.
According to the governor, preserving the jobs is a key objective for the year of 2016.
“I strongly ask you to carefully observe this issue,” Ivan Belozertsev addressed the companies.
In the current situation when optimization is inevitable, he said, they must cooperat with the Penza region Labor Ministry to set up re-education programs so that he people who ended up getting cut would be able to take on a different job which is currently in demand.
In addition, Ivan Belozertsev touched upon the issue of big loan interest rates.
He announced that he ordered Nikolai Simonov, chairman of the regional government, to research possible ways to provide support to industrial enterprises during loan acquirement.
