Penza, 24 March 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza region has begun to form a consumer goods industry cluster, announced the head of the regional Industry Ministry Mikhail Torgashin during the regional government session on Thursday, March 24.

“We have been approaching that for two years. We included the clothing manufacture cluster in the past year’s form. It was listed as a consumer goods industry cluster,” the minister explained.

He clarified that the new cluster will bring together not just clothing manufacture companies, but also business-makers involved in production of footwear and other consumer goods.

“We won the auction, received the money, the Center of Cluster Development already hired a dedicated person. […] The cluster formation process is active and underway,” Mikhail Torgashin pointed out.
