Penza, 25 March 2016. PenzaNews. Representatives of business clusters in the Penza region will join the regional delegation for a visit to Kazakhstan on March 28-30 with a business mission.

Reportedly, the delegation will be led by the Penza region governor Ivan Belozertsev.

Moreover, the list of people who will be visiting Kazakhstan includes Dmitry Kudryavtsev, assistant general director for civil production at the Protsenko production union “Start,” and Anton Godovich, head construction engineer of the enterprise; Dmitry Boldov, general director of “Biosintez”; Oleg Shapoval, board chairman of “CeSIS NIKIRET,” and Alexander Dyachkov, sales director for the company.

In addition, Mikhail Lyashkov, general director of the Center of Cluster Development, will also join the delegation.

Their agenda will feature talks with representatives of the Kazakhstan Defense and Energy Ministries, and the country’s customs service.

Alongside that, they will hold meetings with Mikhail Bocharnikov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in Kazakhstan; Akhmetzhan Yesimov, board chairman of “Astana EXPO-2017”; and the Astana akim (head of the local government) Adilbek Dzhaksybekov.

Moreover, the Penza region delegation plan to meet their colleagues in healthcare, education, culture and sports, as well as staff members of universities and other educational institutes of Astana.

“The business section of the talks will be dedicated to working out the issues related to increasing export of Penza enterprises to Kazakhstan, attracting investors and business partners for our enterprises,” the general director of the Center of Cluster Development Mikhail Lyashkov told PenzaNews.

He also added that the delegation will represent not only the Penza enterprises that already work in Kazakhstan, but also the cluster enterprises that only plan to expand into the Kazakh market.

“Penza cluster enterprises are the leaders in many segments of the national market. For example, the products by our instrumentation cluster enterprises is responsible for over 60% of the Russian perimeter security market; the confectionary cluster is among the top 5 producers of sweets in Russia; and biomedical cluster enterprises hold the lead in production of medical devices for cardiovascular surgery and prosthesis,” he stressed.

To prepare for the business mission trip, the delegation summarized the business proposals by Penza companies, as well as developed a series of informative and analysis documents, Mikhail Lyashkov explained.

“For example, we created a unified catalog of our instrumentation cluster ‘Security’ that features a full range of information about the enterprises and the production by the Penza cluster,” he clarified.
