Penza region placed 59th in business competition assistance rating

Penza, 23 June 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza region was placed 59th in the 2015 business competition assistance rating of Russian regions compiled by the Russian Government’s analysis center.

According to the notes, the rating is a collection of independent evaluations of quality of work done by governors and their staff to assist business competition and the quality of work in the field.
The critical analysis of competition assistance measures sorted a number of regions in several groups, including those with formal approaches and those with unique approachs that could be used in other regions.
According to researchers, development of social business ended up a key factor of regional competition development rating: it has great potential to improve quality of services, attracting private businesses and developing small businesses, as well as reducing regional budget burdens further on.
Because of that, their analysis features a special section dedicated to review of regional authoriteis in terms of socially crucial competition market assistance and regional leaders in 2015.
The top three of the rating are the Voronezh and Nizhny Novgorod regions and the Khabarovsky Krai.
The underdogs of the rating are Altai, Kalmykia, and Tyva.
