Penza, 12 November 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza region occupies the 38th position in the rating of Russian regions by volume of second-hand car market created by the analytical agency “Avtostat” for January-September, 2016.

According to the provided data, 32.2 thousand cars were sold at a second-hand car market during 9 months of the current year, and last year during the same periodonly 30.1 thousand cars were sold. The increase made up 7.2%.

As the investigation shows, 0.8% of the Russian second-hand car market volume is due to the Penza region.

In accordance with information provided by analytics, the volume of the second-hand car market in Russia during 9 months of the 2016 year amounted to 3,835,000 units, the increase to the analogous period of the 2015 year – 7.4%.

The leading positions in the rating are traditionally occupied by Moscow and the Moscow region which make up more than 12% of the whole. The third place with the share of less than 5% belongs to the Krasnodar region. Top-five also includes Saint-Petersburg (3.7%) and the Rostov region (3%).

Among the Russian Federation constituent entities which entered top-50, negative dynamics of the second-hand car market was detected only in Dagestan (-5%). Other regions show steady growth, the fastest detected in Udmurtia (+21%).
