Penza, 31 January 2017. PenzaNews. Companies that seek to conduct road repairs in the Penza region in 2017 will have to prove that they have the necessary equipment and qualified specialists. This opinion was expressed by the governor Ivan Belozertsev.

"It is capital repairs, not pothole patching," he said during the meeting devoted to the realization of the project "Safe roads of high-quality" and to application of funds of the road fund, held in the regional government on Tuesday, January 31.

Ivan Belozertsev added that each organization that seeks to perform the corresponding contract will have to "defend" its abilities and to provide a detailed plan of how it will use the allocated funds.

According to the governor, if contractors do not have enough resources to perform the designated amount of work within the deadlines, they will be denied.

"First you agree and then you search for a subcontractor. This should not be the case," Ivan Belozertsev emphasized.
