Twelve Penza region school graduates earn 100 points in Russian language Unified State Exam

Penza, 15 June 2016. PenzaNews. A total of 12 graduates of Penza region schools excelled at the Unified State Exam in Russian language, where they earned 100 points out of 100.

“I am happy to see that they come not just from the main city – Penza schools No. 77, 60, 69 and gubernatorial lyceum for gifted children – but also from the Nikolsk, Mokhshan, Bessonovka, Belinsky and Kameshkir areas and Kuznetsk,” the regional Education Minister Alexander Voronkov noted.
A total of 5,476 school graduates took part in the USE in Russian language on May 30. They earned an average of 69 points, compared to 64.7 points in 2015 and 60.9 points in 2014.
Moreover, the officials announced the results of the USE in Maths, which was taken by 4,388 school graduates – with a region-wide average grade of 4.2 points out of 5.
The school graduates who failed to participate in the exam on time or received bad marks will be able to take or re-take it on reserve days, which are June 27 and June 28 respectively, says the press service of the Penza region Education Ministry.
