As the website of the city department of education informs, children with disabilities and members of large families are provided with one complimentary breakfast and one lunch a day. Students with intellectual disabilities studying under adapted educational programs are provided with free of charge half-board.

Since January 2016, an extra measure of social support was introduced — partial (50%) payment of the cost of breakfast or lunch upon payment of the second part. The benefits are provided to schoolchildren from low-income families, including orphans and children registered in the TB dispensary.

For pupils aged 7-11 years old, the recommended breakfast price should not exceed 45 rubles, dinner price — 65 rubles; for pupils aged 11-18 years old — no more than 50 and 70 rubles respectively.
