Penza, 27 February 2016. PenzaNews. Citizens of Penza and the region who disagree with the current situation in the communal services field must unite with supporters of the Communist stance to defend their rights, said Sergei Selivankin, lawyer, assistant to the head of the CPRF faction in the Moscow city Duma Andrei Klychkov, during the city-wide communal affairs forum held in the center of culture and leisure on Saturday, February 27.

“Of course, the joint work – of the citizens and the political opposition, which includes our party – is an effective factor for resolving many communal problems. […] If we work together, and go to protests, hold public rallies, rather than burdening somebody else with our problems, that will bring forth the results,” he said.
According to Sergei Selivankin, people must not simply discuss the issues in their inner groups but also actively make their position heard by the officials.
“I propose all participants of this forum to address the head of the administration, the governor with a demand to change the deadlines of the capital repairs program. The basis for that is simple: you are the citizens of the Russian Federation who have your dignity, your honor. And, after all, the state must follow through with its social obligations,” the speaker stressed.
“We did such a delivery to the mayor in Moscow and are now waiting for the reply,” the lawyer added.
