Penza, 17 February 2012. PenzaNews. The judicial board on criminal cases of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation has left unchanged a sentence of Saratov regional court and appeal of condemned 46-year-old Michael Cherkasin without satisfaction. He was recognized guilty of creation of the criminal community, prostitution employment and involving 33 women in it, including four minors from Saratov, Penza, Tver and Moscow regions.

“It was established that from September 2009 till September 2010 Michael Cherkasin had conducted criminal activity on prostitution employment organization and involving women, including minors forcibly,” informed the press-service of Investigatory committee of the Russian Federation.

“Cherkasin recognized his fault completely, having given detailed evidences which proved to be true during confrontations, he assisted investigation in exposure of other active associates and their possible whereabouts,” specified in the press-service.

On November 1, 2011 Saratov regional court sentenced Michael Cherkasin to 10 years of imprisonment with in strict regime colony and restriction of freedom for 1 year.

On February 16, 2012 on criminal cases of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation the sentence of the Saratov regional court is left by cassation definition of Judicial board without change and the appeal of condemned without satisfaction.
