Penza, 23 April 2012. PenzaNews. Officers of criminal investigation department of Office of Interior Ministry of the Russian Federation for the Penza region arrested a man who at night on April 17 tried to steal Audi-80 car near the house in Elektrichesky Proezd in Penza and then killed the owner of this vehicle.

“32-year-old unemployed previously convicted local resident was arrested on suspicion of crime,” stated in the department press service.

As it was earlier reported, the tragedy happened at 2 pm on April 17. A 59-year-old resident heard his car engine sound, came up to a vehicle and saw a stranger in his car who tried to drive it away then the unknown stabbed the car owner 5 times in his breast, stomach, extremities and fled the scene.

The victim was immediately hospitalized, however, he died the same day from his injuries.

Investigatory department of Pervomaysky district of Penza initiated the criminal case under item “c” of part 4 of Art. 162 of Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Robbery committed with causing grievous harm of the victim” and part 4 Art. 111 of Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Deliberate infliction of grievous bodily harm resulting in the death of the victim.”
