Penza, 6 September 2012. PenzaNews. Prosecutor’s office revealed gross violations of town planning legislation concerning the fact of granting by certain Penza administration officials two permits for construction of a shopping center, and the second stage of shopping complex at Sozidateley Av.

“Permits were issued without the endorsement of the state expert on the project, thus, the project documentation have not been evaluated for compliance with the technical regulations, including sanitary, epidemiological, ecological requirements, the requirements of state protection of cultural heritage, fire, industrial, nuclear, radiation and other safety regulations, as well as engineering research results,” the Senior Assistant Attorney in the region Yuliya Makarova explained.

She noted that according to the results of the inspection, the prosecutor of Leninsky district strongly recommended the head of Penza administration to review and eliminate violations of town planning legislation.

“At present, the prosecutor’s resolution is under consideration,” the agency interlocutor added.
