Kuznetsk, 20 November 2012. PenzaNews. The resident of Kuznetsk, the Penza region was sentenced to 360 hours of compulsory labor for the false report of the impending explosion.

“Being intoxicated, the defendant called from a mobile phone to the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russian in Kuznetsk and reported about the impending explosion, explaining to the officer that he kept a hostage and mined the house,” specified the press service of Kuznetsk area court.

Later, the defendant confessed having reported false information and admitted his guilt.

“When assigning the punishment, the nature and degree of social danger of the crime, the background of the defendant, mitigating and aggravating circumstances were taken into account. The sentence came into force,” added in the court.
