Zarechny, 28 December 2012. PenzaNews. Patrol officer of Russian Interior Ministry in the town of Zarechny, the Penza region was hospitalized with brain concussion and bruises received during the arrest of a drunken citizen.

“The policeman tried to deliver drunken 24-year-old local man to the police department to draw up an administrative report when the young man hit the police officer with his elbow in the face,” the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Penza region told news agency “PenzaNews.”

The ministry noted that this fact would be investigated, and according to the results, the procedural decision would be taken.

“Drunken brawler may face 10 years in prison,” the press service explained.
