Penza, 22 January 2014. PenzaNews. Death of two people found in the ashes after a fire in a private house in Bekovo village, the Penza region last Monday, January 20, is suspected to be a murder. This was reported to news agency PenzaNews by the Senior Assistant of the Head of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in Penza, Media relations, Lyudmila Fomina.

According to her, the forensic examination of the bodies of a 49-year-old landlady and her 55-year-old roommate showed stab wounds on the head and neck.

“A criminal case has been instituted under Part 1, Art. 105 of the Criminal Code “Murder.” The measures aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident, as well as those involved in the crime, are being carried out,” the agency interlocutor explained.
