As Rinat Devlikamov, activist of the regional NGO department, told PenzaNews agency, a cashier at one of the fast food restaurants sold beer to a teenager without asking to see his documents.

“The raid activists asked the restaurant administrator with a request to comment the fact of alcohol sale to a customer under 18, and provided a cash slip and a video of the fact. The KFC staff member then tried to deceive the activists by trying them he is not who they are looking for, and got confused in his testimony. Police officers arrived to draw up a protocol. However, after a few attempts, the cash slip was destroyed in an unusual manner: it was eaten by the KFC restaurant administrator,” the agency interlocutor said.

He added that a different raid to another KFC restaurant again revealed a fact of underage beer sales.

“With these raids, we would like to attract the attention of the society to the youth drinking problem. There is a law that people must follow strictly. I believe that large fines the cashiers and the businessmen will have to pay will sober them up. Guarding the youth from alcohol is our first and foremost duty,” said the “Youth Guard of United Russia” activist.
